Suzanne Valadon’s Montmartre

Imagine that you are a Belle Epoque artist in Paris. Your life is nothing other than painting, loving and drinking a café au lait or a glass of red wine in charming Parisian cafes. All day long, you stroll the romantic, cobbled streets of Montmartre and at night, you invent modern art. Let's follow in the footsteps of Suzanne Valadon, the only muse who became a great painter. Meet Suzanne's friends, the painters Degas, Toulouse - Lautrec, Van Gogh and the famous music composer Erik Satie. Have a coffee with Renoir, the young Picasso and the seductive Modigliani. Share the adventures of the famous French cancan dancer La Goulue who was the star of the Moulin Rouge. Discover the fabulous life of the first female art dealer in art history. And chat with the cats of the poetic cemetery of Montmartre.

REVIEWS

We had a lovely walk and talk around Montmartre with Edith. It was my daughter's first visit, whilst I had seen Montmartre many times. We both enjoyed the tour. Edith is very knowledgeable and witty, with lots of insider comments that made for a very interesting visit. Edith's predilection for Parisian women, makes the Museum of Montmartre a must-see stop. Her other favorite subject is Jewish heritage. I would definitely recommend her Montmartre tour and pair it up with her Roaring 20s one.
