There names were Gertrude Stein, Djuna Barnes, Romaine Brooks, Nathalie Clifford-Barney, Sylvia Beach and Janet Flanner. Some were writers, aome painters and some were ladies of fashionable society.
What they all had in common was a desire to leave the Puritanical confines of the United States.
They came to Paris where they were free to create their own lives and love other women. Discover these brave and talented women and their fabulous Paris lives during "Les Années folles".
